The City of Eastvale and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department worked collaboratively at the direction of City Council to develop Eastvale Crime Statistics that can be shared with the public on a regular basis. Data is pulled from the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program, which is data on crime in the United States, published by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

While reading the data, it is important to note the following:

  • All Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) data is preliminary and is pending year end verification by the California Department of Justice (CA-DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
  • All non-Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) data are raw statistics based on the information currently in the Records Management System (RMS) and can change based on a change in crime verification or how fast reports are written and entered

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department advises that the data compiled will be issued a month behind the current month. Monthly crime statistics are also presented at the last City Council meeting of the month and the singular monthly Public Safety Commission meeting.
