Home MenuIndependent Zip Code Advocacy Project
Eastvale currently has two Zoning Improvement Plan (ZIP) codes, 91752 and 92880, that were previously assigned by the United States Postal Service (USPS). ZIP Code 91752 represents the former Mira Loma unincorporated community that is shared between the Cities of Eastvale and Jurupa Valley; however, Mira Loma no longer exists as an unincorporated area after both cities incorporated. ZIP Code 92880 is currently shared between the Cities of Chino, Corona, and Eastvale and small portions of unincorporated Orange County and Riverside County.
After many months of advocacy, the USPS has revised the 92880 ZIP code to accurately register as Eastvale, California starting on January 1, 2024. Various wayfinding platforms, companies, and government agencies are in the process of switching 92880's designation from "Corona" to "Eastvale." We encourage you to review the full press release to learn more.
At the moment, the City remains home to both ZIP codes 91752 and 92880. In February 2023, Congressman Ken Calvert and Congresswoman Norma Torres introduced and sponsored H.R. 696 and H.R. 860 in Congress to address the City's outstanding ZIP code challenges. If either of the bills is passed and signed into law, Eastvale will receive a new and independent ZIP code that matches the City's existing jurisdictional boundaries.

National Coalition
The City of Eastvale founded and currently co-chairs the National ZIP Code Advocacy Coalition, which is comprised of more than two dozen municipalities from across 12 states. Many of these municipalities share similar issues as a result of sharing ZIP codes with neighboring jurisdictions and are working together to exchange innovative and creative ideas to advance advocacy efforts. How You Can Help
In order for Eastvale to have the greatest chance into obtaining an independent ZIP code, the U.S. Congress must enact legislation to officially consolidate the City’s ZIP code boundaries. As mentioned previously, there are currently two bills in Congress that were introduced to address Eastvale’s ZIP code challenges. As a result, the City encourages residents and community groups to submit letters supporting the City having its own independent ZIP code. These letters and comments greatly demonstrate that the community supports the City’s endeavor. Letters of support can be filled out using the link below or emailed to the City’s Economic Development Manager, Alexander Fung, at afung@eastvaleca.gov.
In addition to signing a general letter of support below, residents can consider writing personal letters to support H.R. 696 and H.R. 860 and mail the letters to Congress. These letters should be addressed to the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability at 2157 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C. 20515. A congressional legislation support letter template can be found below. Affected residents, businesses, and stakeholders are encouraged to submit testimonies on how the lack of an independent ZIP code has impacted them personally. Testimonies can also be submitted using the link below.
