What the Emergency Management (EM) Program Does:

Emergency Management Program is dedicated to ensuring the safety and resilience of the City of Eastvale through proactive disaster planning, coordination, and response. Our mission is to prepare the community for all hazards—whether natural or man-made—by working across four key areas: preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery.

The EM Program leads efforts to:

  • Develop and implement emergency plans that protect residents, businesses, and visitors.
  • Coordinate training and drills to ensure the community and local agencies are ready to respond effectively during emergencies.
  • Provide resources and education on disaster preparedness, helping the public stay informed, build emergency kits, and create family and business plans.
  • Collaborate with local, state, and federal partners to reduce risks, strengthen infrastructure, and ensure a coordinated response to disasters.
  • Support the recovery process by guiding the community in rebuilding and returning to normalcy after a disaster, focusing on long-term resilience.

The heart of our work is building a safe and prepared community that can withstand and recover from any challenge.
