Overview
The City of Eastvale's Volunteer Program allows residents to help improve the safety and quality of life of Eastvale residents. Participants are able to serve their community, develop a reliable network of talent to support community services, and participate in segments of local government. With that in mind, it is important to effectively match individuals and others interested in providing volunteer services to City of Eastvale with departments that have exciting and fun volunteer opportunities.
Mission
The City of Eastvale's Volunteer Program is committed to encouraging community participation and the comprehensive coordination of volunteers to enhance municipal services. It champions new creative ideas that engage, excite, and elevate our community. We are dedicated to providing excellent service through relationships that build trust, create a safe environment, and enhance the quality of life in our communities.
Volunteer Duties
Volunteers will drive through neighborhoods, shopping centers, and other areas in the city, report quality of life issues on the My Eastvale App, and generally be visible in the community as a deterrent to criminal activity. Volunteers will also assist at City events and during the holidays when additional presence is desired. Community Enhancement Volunteers are non-confrontational and do not proactively contact the public.
