Yvonne Varela has lived in the City of Eastvale with her husband Mike and 2 daughters, since 2010. She graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Graphic Design. 

Yvonne has been employed with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department since 1999. She is currently a Senior Public Information Specialist and is assigned to the office of the Sheriff.  

In her spare time, Yvonne enjoys spending time with her family. During football season, she is very involved with the Eastvale Stallions Cheer Team. She is a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and is a past member of the Soroptimist Club of Riverside. 

Yvonne Varela was appointed to the Public Safety Commission in 2018 by Council Member Jocelyn Yow. She is very excited to join the Public Safety Commission and looks forward to serving her community.
