Details:

On September 1, 2016, the Eastvale Police Department’s Traffic Team conducted a Traffic Safety Presentation at crosswalks near Eastvale Elementary School and River Heights Intermediate School. Approximately 370 pamphlets were distributed to parents and students about bicycle safety, child passenger safety, and pedestrian safety. The goal was to educate parents and students in the hopes to make the streets safer for both drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists, which in turn will reduce the amount of injury traffic collisions.

Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
