Youth Recreational Scholarships Deadline Approaching

The Eastvale Community Foundation has been awarded sub-recipient funds from the City of Eastvale’s Community Development Block Grant from the County of Riverside. The sub-recipient funds will be used to finance recreational scholarships and programs for low-income residents.

The Eastvale Community Foundation is a non-profit organization, selected and created by the Eastvale City Council, which raises money for programs and scholarships in the City of Eastvale. The Eastvale Community Foundation is offering scholarships for low-income residents, which will be distributed to programs in the City of Eastvale and nearby city locations, only residents of the City of Eastvale are eligible to apply. “Residence,” “reside” and “residing” refers to a place of bona fide continuous habitation.

The scholarships will be used to fund sports programs, art/drama programs and any other types of youth recreational opportunities, including High School programs. Scholarships will be granted to the organizations directly for the benefit of the individual participant, not to exceed $300 per child, to participate in the programs of their choosing. Grant may not be used for anything other than registration, equipment, uniforms and/or other required supplies. Once the application has been completed and all required documents submitted, applicants will then be notified. 

Applicants need all of the following documents to be considered for a scholarship: 

DEADLINE: MAY 13, 2016

1) Scholarship Application Form

2) Proof of Residency (such as a utility bill)

3) Proof of Income (such as 2014-2015 IRS Form 1040)

Please check the Income Limits Form to see if you qualify prior to submitting an application.

Complete application packets may be submitted the following methods:

1) Hardcopies submitted to City Hall

2) Mailed to: Eastvale Community Foundation

3) Email your complete application package to ECFScholarships@gmail.com
