Join Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD), in partnership with Metropolitan Water District, for a free seminar on how residents can become more water wise gardeners. The seminar is set for Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the JCSD Boardroom, 11201 Harrel Street, Jurupa Valley.
The seminar will focus on the six following components:
- Using a Holistic Approach to Gardening
- Building a Living Soil Sponge
- Rethinking Elements of Your Site
- Right Plant, Right Place
- Using Rainwater as a Resource
- Managing Irrigation
