In the fall, CNUSD hosted a series of parent information nights about the Common Core State Standards. We are excited to announce a new series of parent information nights this spring which will concentrate on the transition to Common Core Mathematics. The primary focus will be to provide key information about the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, the 2013 Revision of the Mathematics Framework, changes in instructional practices and curriculum, student and teacher resources, Common Core assessments, as well as a flow chart of courses, implementation timeline, and tips for parents to assist children with Common Core Math.
