In light of the CA Voting Rights Act of 2001 the Corona Norco Unified School District (CNUSD) is exploring the idea of establishing trustee areas for school board elections. Currently our CNUSD school board elections are at-large meaning, voters can cast votes for all five seats up for election. Trustee area elections are those that require voters to exclusively vote for candidates within their residential boundary. As CNUSD explores the adoption of establishing trustee areas, we would like to seek your feedback about the proposed drafted trustee area maps. CNUSD would like to extend an invitation for you to attend the upcoming community input meetings where CNUSD will share information on the proposed trustee area maps.
