The Americans with Disabilities Act requires state and local governments to ensure access to civic life for all individuals, not only regarding physical accessibility, but also in the delivery of government programs, services, activities, and employment. The law requires public entities to conduct a self-evaluation of all programs, services and facilities to establish an ADA transition plan addressing structural or programmatic barriers.

The City of Eastvale has developed an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self Evaluation and Transition Plan. The Plan addresses accessibility barriers in City buildings and parks, City programs, policies and procedures, and pedestrian facilities in the City’s public right-of-way. The City will use this plan as a roadmap for improvements to ensure Eastvale’s programs, services and activities are accessible for people with disabilities.

We invite you to review the final draft of the ADA Transition Plan and share your thoughts related to the findings and priority phases outlined for future barrier removal. Your feedback is invaluable in enhancing our inclusivity efforts.
