City of Eastvale Seeks Community Support by Opposing AB 1250

The City of Eastvale is seeking community support in opposing Assembly Bill (AB) 1250, which eliminates almost all contract services for cities and counties. None of the proposed edits to AB 1250 address the core issue of having the State impose unnecessary and costly regulatory requirements before local agencies can make basic business decisions on how best to provide necessary services to their citizens and businesses. AB 1250 will negatively impact every California City and County’s ability to provide cost effective and timely public services necessary for public safety, economic development, and basic quality of life amenities. Eastvale Mayor Joe Tessari has shown opposition to AB 1250 by signing two letters:

Opposition Letter 1 (Signed April 17, 2017)

Opposition Letter 2 (Signed May 8, 2017)
