A "Spring Storm" Coming to Our Area This Weekend

The National Weather Service (NWS) is reporting a "Spring Storm" headed our way Friday night through the weekend. The predicted rainfall is minimal for this area, however, the NWS is reporting:

  • Friday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 82. Light northwest wind becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
  • Friday Night: Patchy drizzle after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. West wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
  • Saturday: Patchy drizzle before 11am, then a slight chance of showers after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 70. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
  • Saturday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
  • Sunday : Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
  • Sunday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
