Is Your Business Compliant with Eastvale’s Business Registration Program?
Business owners and operators will soon receive a notice from City Hall reminding them to renew their Business Registration certificate with the City of Eastvale.
In March 2012, the City of Eastvale launched its Business Registration program. This program compiles a comprehensive inventory of businesses operating in the City of Eastvale to enhance public safety and help achieve compliance with federal, state and local water quality regulations.
All businesses, including home occupations, operating within the City’s boundaries are required to register. The City collaborates with the Eastvale Chamber of Commerce and the Riverside County Recorder’s office to identify and notify business owners of this requirement.
The Business Registration Brochure and Application are available on the Business Registration page of the City’s website: www.EastvaleCA.gov. The annual initial registration fee is $111. Certificates are valid from April 1st through March 31st of each year regardless of when the business is registered. In addition, the same dates apply for the business registration renewal certificates; the renewal cost is $41 regardless of when the payment is made (fee cost effective as of November 25, 2013). Both of these fees include a $1.00 Certified Access Specialist (CASp) Services fee per state law (SB 1186). Please be advised that any fees associated with inspections for compliance with federal, state and local water quality regulations will not be waived for any business as those regulations are independent of the City’s Business Registration Program. In the event an application is denied, the application fee will not be refunded.
